Vimpa Dismantling Joint is a double flanged fitting that allows longitudinal adjustments in flanged pipe systems. It has been developed to provide greater flexibility at both the planning and installation stages of flanged pipework system and for subsequent maintenance.

INSTALLATION 

Assembly is fast & Possible with the aid of a spanner & torque – wrench. The gasket of Vimpa DJ is compressed independently of tie bars.

CORROSION AND PROTECTION

Standard protection by epoxy  Painting. Should you require Fusion bonded Epoxy/Rilsan powder coating, it is available at extra cost.

WORKING PRESSURE

All Vimpa Dismantling Joints are fully ended load resistant and have a pressure rating equal to that of the flange.

FULL FACE FLANGE

For application where a full face flange is required i.e. water and butterfly valves, the flange of the spigot piece provides a full flange sealing area.

 PRODUCT QUALITY

Dismantling Joints are designed and manufactured under a quality management system and have been tested by Vimpa’s comprehensive in-house research facilities to the most exacting performance requirements of the WRc  Water Bye-laws scheme (WBS). As with all Vimpa products, Dismantling Joints are designed to outlast the pipes on which they are fitted.

GASKETS

Dismantling Joints are fitted with grade E(EPDM) water quality gaskets as standard. For other applications or alternatives, please ask for details.-
